tradisi nawur penempuh desa suwug

Desa Suwug, Kecamatan Sawan menyimpan kearifan lokal yang sangat beragam. Salah satu bentuk keragaman kebudayaan dan tradisi di kalangan masyarakat setempat yakni upacara Nawur Penempuh yang digelar bertepatan saat Purnama sasih Kanem. Tradisi yang diwarisi secara turun-temurun sangat dipercaya membawa kemakmuran serta kesejahteraan khususnya bagi pria yang menikahi wanita asli Desa Suwug. Rangkaian upacaranya sendiri rutin digelar setiap tahun dengan melibatkan puluhan pasangan pengantin dan juga diikuti seluruh lapisan masyarakat desa adat suwug.Menurut keterangan Klian Desa Pakraman Suwug, I Wayan Nawa terdapat tiga tahapan prosesi upacara persembahan yang wajib diikuti oleh krama desa adat di tiga Pura secara berturut-turut, yakni prosesi upacara di Pura Lebah, kemudian di Pura Agung Menasa dan puncak acara berakhir pada prosesi upacara Nawur Penempuh yang dilaksanakan di Pura Desa setempat. “Tradisi Nawur Penempuh sendiri tidak tertulis dalam catatan awig-awig desa adat suwug, namun lebih mengikat pada sebuah kewajiban. Upacaranya dilakukan setahun sekali,” ucap Nawa. Tradisi upacara Nawur Penempuh ini dilakukan oleh pihak keluarga besar pengantin pria dan juga diikuti keluarga dari wanita asal desa suwug (purusa dan pradana) ketika mereka sudah memiliki kehidupan yang mapan. Persembahan yang dihaturkan pun disesuaikan dengan tingkat kemampuan ekonomi. Tujuan dari prosesi upacara itu sendiri adalah sebagai bentuk ucapan terima kasih kepada sang pencipta atas limpahan berkah dan rezeki selama mengarungi bahtera rumah tangga. Biasanya pihak keluarga pengantin pria memberikan atos berupa hewan babi jantan sebagai persembahan. Selain itu ciri khas purusa dan pradana saat berlangsungnya prosesi upacara yang digunakan yakni bantal alem. Sedangkan kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana banten pelengkap lainnya disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan keluarga. Pada saat itu, pihak keluarga juga menghaturkan berbagai ragam tarian seperti Tari Pendet, Baris Tumbak. Kemudian pada akhir prosesi dilakukan upacara pegat seet. “Babinya sebagai atos, kemudian desa mengelola sebagai aci. Lawarnya dinikmati bersama, tulang dari hewan ini di kembalikan sebagai bangun urip, sebagai ayaban sang maturan penempuh, setelah menjadi lungsuran di kelem ke desa kembali. Sekarang kami batasi pesertanya. Per tahun sebanyak 20-25 saja, dari satu keluarga yang ikut bisa mencapai ratusan orang jika dikalikan 25 keluarga itu mencapai ribuan, belum lagi jumlah krama wajib turunan yang berjumlah 1.170 KK,” ungkapnya. Warga sangat menghormati dan menghaturkan puji syukur kepada leluhur atas keberhasilan yang mereka capai selama hidupnya. Namun ada juga warga yang menghaturkan dan mengikuti tradisi ini karen apemicu lain, seperti kehidupannya yang tidak tenteram karena sakit hingga akhirnya meninggal. “Kemudian dari keturunan mereka menanyakan penyebabnya kepada orang pintar.Mereka mengetahui bahwa mereka lupa akan asal-usul serta kewajibannya sebagai umat Hindu. Jadi Nawur Penempuh itu keyakinan, bukan kewajiban apalagi keharusan. Tradisi yang diberikan leluhur kami secara turun temurun dan tidak tertulis. Kewajiban krama sebagai umat Hindu bukan kewajiban sebagai warga. Jadi jangan takut jika ingin menikahi gadis dari suwug,” pungkasnya. |NH|

MENJADI TERBAIK

Sering salah satu yang bikin banyak orang stress itu adalah karena dia ingin menjadi yang paling hebat, paling bagus, paling terkenal, paling kaya, pokoknya terbaik; namun keinginan tersebut tak kunjung tercapai..

Hidup serasa gitu-gitu aja dari dulu nggak ada perkembangan. Apakah Anda seperti itu?

Sebelumnya saya juga begitu. Pingin masuk peringkat teratas. Pingin langsung hebat. Pingin langsung sukses. Namun, seiring waktu terus berlalu, tahun berganti tahun, tapi tetap masih sulit menjangkaunya. Akhirnya, menjadi stress.

Meski memang tentu saja ingin menjadi yang terbaik itu bukanlah sesuatu yang salah. Sejatinya, boleh saja asalkan memang itu hal yang perlu, genting, bahkan wajib. Hanya saja, memang, kerapnya itu merupakan hal yang sulit. Bahkan pada sebagian hal tingkat kesulitannya nyaris mustahil, walau memang bukan mustahil.

Dan meski memang tentu saja, itu semua terserah pilihan Anda saja apakah harus jadi yang terbaik atau tidak harus.

Namun, normalnya, apalagi pada seseorang yang masih baru, sebaiknya jangan dulu berlebihan berfikir bagaimana menjadi yang terbaik. Sebaiknya, berfikir saja dulu agar bisa menjadi lebih baik. Itu lebih visible dan achievable.

Misalnya, Anda adalah seorang penulis. Anda tahu, ada seorang penulis yang Anda tahu dia itu hebat banget, bisa menulis 3 artikel dalam 1 hari. Sedangkan Anda, hanya bisa menulis 1 artikel dalam 2 hari.

Nah, daripada Anda berfikir keras dan berangan-angan bagaimana agar sesegera mungkin Anda bisa menjadi seperti itu bahkan lebih, menulis 5 artikel dalam 1 hari, lebih baik Anda berfikir bagaimana agar menjadi lebih baik daripada kondisi yang sekarang saja.

Misalnya, Anda berfikir bagaimana agar bisa menulis 1 artikel dalam 1 hari. Begitu lebih visible dan achievable, right? Daripada langsung muluk-muluk tapi malah bikin stress sehingga akhirnya tidak produktif? Iya kan? Iya.. Kalau seandainya nanti sudah berhasil, next, berfikir bagaimana bisa menulis 2 artikel dalam 1 hari, dan seterusnya.

Kalau seperti itu, sangat memungkinkan bukan? Tentu saja. Lebih terbayang, terukur, dan bisa dikerjakan.

Nah, maka dari itu, silahkan boleh Anda adopsi mindset seperti itu pada beberapa hal aktivitas Anda. Daripada berangan-angan jadi yang terbaik, barangkali bisa Anda coba dulu menjadi yang lebih baik dari yang sudah ada saja dulu.
